Her experience includes over twenty years as a translator specialized in translation of medical and pharmaceutical documents including medical articles, abstracts, meeting materials, treatment guidelines, study protocols, informed consent forms, study agreements, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports, press releases, promotional materials, newspaper articles, and video subtitles.

Graduated from Kyoto Pharmaceutical University in 1987

June 1992: Established R&A Medical Translation Service to start her own medical/pharmaceutical translation business

September 1990 – May 1992: Coordinator and in-house translator at Doctor Mates Co., Ltd.

2004: Wrote textbooks for the correspondence course "English-Japanese Medical Course Advanced" at DHC Co.

 

2003: Wrote textbooks for the correspondence course "Japanese-English Medical Course" at DHC Co.

 

1997-2007: Taught English to Japanese medical translation in the correspondence course "Medical II" at Fellow Academy

 

1994-1995: Taught English to Japanese medical translation as a part-time teacher at Adept Co., Ltd.
